Wedding Woes

my cat is an a-hole

I'm more sleep deprived because of him. The kid for the most part sleeps through the night. The cat wakes me up no less than 3 times to WATCH HIM EAT. He has food. He requires an audience. If I shut him out of the bedroom he scratches the door and yeowls like he's being beaten.

I think your post title is redundant.
  • Is it wrong to junk punch a cat?
  • UGH.

My friend's cat does the same thing. When we got home from the MNO last night, she told me she had to go spend her time with Isabelle so she wouldn't start meowing through the house all night.

  • He's done this for years. It's just much worse now because I'm so tired in general. He doesn't bug H at all. It's all about me.

Please note, he's technically H's cat.

  • HA!  My cat does this too.  He is a social eater and he can't leave me alone when I am sleeping.  This is why he sleeps in the laundry room where he can scatch and scratch at the door and I can't hear him from the bedroom.

I just a friendly gal looking for options.

  • Nico, he gets fed in the evening. Because of his renal failure he's on wet food with a teeny bit of kibble. Nothing down during the daytime.

  • Su likes us to watch her eat too, but if she woke me up to do at night, I'd drop kick her. That's ridiculous!

  • If he finishes his food and is still hungry he'll wake me up to feed him.
