Wedding Woes

Dress help (I'll be bugging you for two months)

Details:  Wedding, Friday night, August in NC.  DH is a groomsman (I have no idea what he's wearing).  I want a new dress.  I love my legs, okay with my arms, 99% certain I want a V-neck.  I am no stick figure and carry my weight in my belly.

Is this on the right track?

I was thinking I wanted more pizazz or color, but this looked nice and had great reviews.

  • You're going to be in Charlotte, right? Because you can't come to NC and not meet me, Heffa, or Candi.

The dress is gorgeous, simple. You could pair with some really colorful jewelry and heels

  • The dress is beautiful. I wore a very similar dress to my bridal shower and wore teal accessories with it (belt, heels, necklace, earring, chunky bangles).
  • I love that dress and from the looks of it, it would hide a belly well.  If you buy it, you must post pics.

I thought I was going to be in Charlotte, but on closer inspection it will be Jamestown.  So Greensboro?  Right now we're planning to do a down Thursday and back Saturday.  My brother (Greenville) wanted to try to meet up too so we'll have to see.

I was going to wait (5 more lbs), but I might go ahead and get it since it's also the right price.

I have that dress in bright blue and I absolutely love it.  I'm wearing it in this picture, if you want to see what it looks like on a non-model person

  • I think it's perfect!  It looks like it would fit your body type well from the description you give.

Thanks arb.  I found a very similar one at JCP for $20 less in a bright blue.  Which was more a color I was thinking.  I might just order and see what happens.
