2 things -
1) i don't normally eat at McDonald's, but the sandwich I had was pretty good. They were supposed to close at 10 with the rest of the restaurants, but they stayed open to take care of the people that were stranded. (I'm sure all of the money they made helped to cushion the blow) I'm going to send a letter to their corporate customer service team to let them know that it was appreciated - the manager said that they were going to stay open until they ran out of food or everyone who wanted food got something to eat. I think they closed at 1:30am.
2) The woman who asked her niece to give up her outlet came up to me in the morning and said "it was you!" I found out that she was the woman who needed a tampon - her boyfriend had just told her that the lady with the baby broke into the machine for him. Looks like we both got some good karma there.
