DH has his interview today.  We'll have to see.  It's a great opportunity even if the pay pseudo sucks. It would be a state job so I don't know how flexible that is.  They already know DH wants the top end of the money and moving.  It does have good vacation/sick time though.  The tuition discount would be pretty big too.  It also gets DH out of this industry and opens up other schools, hospitals, and even other city jobs.

I know I'm getting ahead of myself.  So far ahead that my mom is sending me MLS listings.

Vibes!   I forgot to wear purple but I do have on scarlet! 

From what I know, once you have a state job it's hard to lose it - - but getting it takes a really long time.   The hiring process just drags out.

I also know that my grandpa is retired from there and has amazing benefits.

I want the hiring to drag out.  We still need  a month for DH to get his retention bonus.
