So, I was fully cognizant that I was in denial about DH's layoff.  I mean, we've talked it to death, we have our game plan in place, we've done what we can to minimize the damage to our life.

So, he received his "severance" which is $0.  For some amazing reason, they can't figure out his PTO used so far this year (which there isn't any used, but again you have to have someone in charge of HR to know this crap at the company level) and I figure they're going to find a way to screw up out of as much of that as they can anyway.

Along with that news, we received his release agreement (which can't be signed yet b/c they don't know the PTO cashout).  I trust the CEO about as far as I can kick him in the face, so I'm having an attorney here review it. 

NOW, I'm getting weepy.  And I'm at work, dangit.  Not a good time/place emotions, thankssomuch.
