Where to go to try on dresses?!

Hi Ladies! I'm going to Seattle on Tuesday to try on dresses and I feel a little unprepared...I don't have a clue where to go, or if I need to make an appt. on a Tuesday....any suggestions?!

Umm...I don't actually know of any places in Seattle, but I am not really a Seattle-ite. However, every place I have been to has required appointments. Just an FYI.

I am sure many of the other girls could help you with locations.

Most places require appts, but on a Tues you might be OK.  I'd still call first.  Some of the favorites are:

The only one in Seattle I've heard good things about is:
    I Do Bridal, Seattle

    Also I lot girls like:
    Pearls & Lace, Burien
Alfred Angelo, SouthcenterThe Wedding Bell, Tacoma
    All That Shimmers, Tacoma
David's Bridal is hit & miss

Cynderellie's Closet in Edmonds!  They are the sweetest ladies there.  I called them yesterday (because I need to go pick up the bridesmaid dresses, eek!), and when I got off the phone, I thought to myself, "this is one of my favorite vendors."  Their website says "by appointment" only on the weekend, so you'd probably be ok without one on a Tuesday (but I'd make one anyway).
Amanda's Bridal in Redmond is pretty good too (need an appt.).

Ooh, I have no idea... but every time I walk by Cicada, I swear I begin to drool. If you try that place I wanna know!

What's your budget? Cicada does have some pretty things but they're kinda high for me. I've heard great things about Belltown Bride and there's the consignment store, Blue Sky Bridal. What city do you live in?

You could try La Belle Elaine or something at Fisher Plaza between lower Queen Anne and Belltown.  Donno anything about it but it looks so pretty!  I'd def recommend going during the week, I was at I Do Bridal and it was packed on a Saturday morning.

The only two shops I went to were I Do Bridal in Seattle and Alfred Angelo in Southcenter (Tukwila), and they were both great! Definitely call and make an appointment at any shop you're thinking of visiting, though - you want them to know you're coming and have a room/assistant ready for you.
