Phone books

Why are they still making them? Does anyone still use them? How can I ask them not to send me phone books?I'm pretty sure Google can find what I need.

They make great booster seats for kids, though. A little duct tape to hold the thing together, and you're all set.

Someone at work cornered me and requested to use my phone book. He looked completely befuddled when I told him we didn't have one. "How... how do you look up phone numbers?"8-| "Google."

i2i with Wzz. When we were looking for someone to redo the driveway, I had to use the phone book. Sometimes, those local type businesses you need don't use the internet.

They said something on Regis and Kelly the other day about NYC no longer gonna have them. Maybe other cities will follow.

If a company doesn't have a website, I won't use them. Even companies without websites can be found on google, in my experience.

You can find the company. But they're still useful when you need X service and don't know what companies provide them.

I won't even let them in the house.  They go into the back of the truck for the first available trip to the recycling bins.
