AW: Been MIA lately... trying to get stuff done... Invites

Sarack- Here are the invites.

All homemade. I used paper from JoAnns (5 for 95 cents). I couldn't find polka dot invites in our colors so I got some stamps and made them. I printed the circle sticker on the front with our monogram.  They cost me about 46 cents each to make (plus printer ink). :)  So far I'm getting really good feedback on them. No one can believe I made them. Gotta love that!

Very cool!  Lots to look at, but it's not overwhelming or cluttered.  I love your designs and that you were able to pull it all together!

Awww. Thanks guys. Like most of the stuff we are DIYing... they were a labor of love.

I made 67 of them. It started out at 55... but then FI kept adding...

Actually what I meant is that like all of us Knotties... when we DIY it's a labor of love. Not that they were so hard or complicated to make.

you did a GREAT job :) I wanted to do epics liners. Would you mind telling me how much and where you got them printed. Just at home? What reaction are the liners getting? I am on the fence so thanks for the help :) and I too LOVE LOVE the way you addressed the envelopes

I just printed our epic out on the laser printer at my office. Nothing fancy. :)  Probably helps because I knew it was going to be black and white. I used a clear plastic report cover to make a template so to speak. I laid the envelope on it, drew a line around the envelope, then cut the report cover in the shape of the envelope (1/2 inch smaller at the envelope flap (that's how thick the glue stripe is)). Then took my stack of photocopies and used the template to draw a line on the copies, then cut them out.  And used rubber cement (just on the flap part) to put them in the envelopes a smidge under the glue strip/flap.

The liners are a huge hit! That is the number one thing people are commenting on. How unique it is. And that it's a great picture.
