All the berries in stores right now. And the cherries. Lord I could live on cherries and raspberries. It does make me a little sad and homesick for WA. My mom's family lives in the country and they all have their own fruit trees and bushes. Plus, my aunt's ex-husband owns a raspberry farm. Mmm. A million and one desserts with berries.

    sweet corn, cherries and strawberries make the heat almost worthwhile.

    Berries, peaches, plums, corn and bright vibrant looking produce barely make the heat ok - but at least I know i'm not getting scurvy during the summer months.

    Oh yes, sweet corn. DH said to me yesterday (after I'd gotten home from the grocery store) that he wanted corn. Grilled corn...drool.

    I've never grilled corn.  I might have to try that for more flavor.  Do you do it in foil or direct on the grill?

    We do just what Zzilla said. It's really delicious this way. Nicy and sweet, but grilly. I could eat everything grilled style. Grilling makes food so tasty.
