I don't line dry, but for somethings that I don't want to risk shrinking, I'll hang them from my shower rod.

I don't have a clothesline. But I do hang things up to dry. Door frames with molding are where I hang things. It's a trick I stole from my mama.

I have a drying rack that I set up in my spare bedroom.  I actually hang dry a lot of clothing.

i have a small drying rack.  i air-dry about a load of clothing each wash, mostly things that i don't want ruined/shrunk by the heat of the dryer.

I line-dry anything that is dry clean or hand wash only and no heat dry.  I'll do that 2 or 4 x, but it eventually goes to the dry cleaner.

I line dry lots of stuff on the clothesline in my utility room.  Can't have an outdoor clothesline because the HOA says no.  And my neighbor would turn me in.

Jeans are always hung dry. The heat of the dryer is very bad for jeans.  DH and I are jean whores, so I don't want them ruined. Also, my cotton dresses, and a lot of my tops.

So do you line dry people use fabric softener in the wash?  Otherwise, isn't it like wearing sandpaper?

Yes, some of them.  Dryer-dried underwear make my nether regions itch, and you're not supposed to put bras in the dryer.  I also have some shirts that hold their shape better if I line-dry them or put them on a sweater rack.

I line dry almost everything of mine, but my underwear (which should go in the dryer to kill any bacteria that might have fallen out of your junk drawer). I hang everything from tanks to jeans in my closet, to avoid dryer damage/shrinage. All of H's stuff goes in the dyer, as do towels and sheets.
