She is "actully" pregnant. Even ignoring the spelling, how could she be kinda sorta pregnant.

This problem will solve itself in five months.I just don't understand people who don't take care of their animals.  Yes, I'm tired of Zelda. Yes, I threaten her with if she'd been from the Humane Society, I would've taken her back (not that she understands it).  But I don't mean it.  I just feel like I need to work harder to help her be a better dog.The only time you should give a dog up, IMHO, is when you can't handle really bad behavioral issues like aggression.  Not much else is going to keep me from judging the hell outta you.

That, V or when you're being put into some sort of home when you're elderly.

The people who gave up Lily couldn't afford to have her. I can't judge too harshly if you choose to feed your kids over feeding your dog, but if it was me, I'd be eating ramen noodles with Lily before giving her up.

I'm not kidding when I say there are provisions for the dogs if something should happen to us.  We're also back up caregivers for other people.  DH's parents will take the cats and Zelda.  My parents will take Bennett.  We also have a set of friends that are back up to the back ups and we are for them too.  :)

I guess I judge less harshly when it is something unforseen. Job loss, going to a home, etc, than something like pregnancy or getting another pet. Pets are a long term responsibility, if you cant commit to that, then maybe you need a houseplant instead.

    Pets should not be novelties.

I also hate when people have a dog so they can chain them up outside and never let them in the house. Why even have a pet?
