    1. I recently came to the realization that about 50% of my mom's extended family is quiverfull. 2. That's kindergarten paste. I'm pretty sure actual pasta requires a few more ingredients. 3. The best photographer in the world can't make that food look good. 4. I'm side-eying Quincy, especially because I think their last name is Adams. 5. Ditto.

I looked up pasta recipes. The only thing she's missing is egg and salt, so I'm sure it doesn't taste THAT different. But looking at the mac and cheese in color made me gag.

Yeah, she isn't too far off from glue there, and I am sure one egg won't break the budget. Or maybe it would. And I didn't even want to look at the picture in color once I saw what she did with that pasta. Also, her hot pockets? Seriously honey, buy a bulk package of yeast and keep it in the freezer. That dough must have been like rock hard cardboard once it was cooked.

WAIT. She HAS a rolling pin and she lets her pizza crusts look that way?I'm out.  Out.  OUT.  OUT!

V- She dents her pizza crusts on purpose so that the sauce has somewhere to sit. And by sauce I mean homemade ketchup.

I think that's her counter, not the floor. But she does seem to be using a wooden cutting board on top of a burner.

You can eat cheaply and still have tasty foods, yo. Those poor kids. They'll be just like H: convinced food is to be shoveled in as quickly as possible so as not to taste it, and for fuel only.

Warning nasty TMI ahead.   The other day, I was that girl and puked after drinking too much. I had eaten huevos rancheros, and 3 bottles of champagne with a little bit of OJ mixed in. The puke looked exactly like the taco mac.

I love all the commenters who say that a) her food looks delicious, and b) that "real" people's food never comes out looking nice, and her pictures are just real. Sorry, but none of the food I cook looks like vomit.

Well in her defense, whole wheat macaroni and cheese looks horrible.  It's just not appealing or appetizing looking, but it is tasty.I just think she isn't a very good cook.  And she doesn't have and isn't developing some skills that would make cooking cheaper easier and more appetizing and healthy.

Wait - 1/2 cup of water is NOT $0. Either they pay for the water with their rent, on a separate water bill, or with their electricity (to run the pump to get it from a well.). Water ain't free, unless she's toting it from the creek or something. Also, you put the pasta in already-boiling water, and it should take about 3-5 minutes for fresh. Jesus be a cookbook.

The water thing being $.00 is irritating after her sound off re: the oven using energy they pay for.
