need advice: bm gifts

Ok. So FI and I originally had a lopsided BP. I had 6 girls on my side and he had 4 on his. I started buying my girls stuff but keeping the cost low because 6x everything really adds up.

So FI wanted to give the guys cufflinks. We bought them. Check. When we picked out tuxes we couldn't find the right color and we were bummed. So I went to Dessy.com and they have ties in the same color/material as bm dresses so we purchased those. Then I found green chuck taylors for $25 at Marshalls so I scooped those up. This sends the gms gifts to $70 each... and he now has 6 guys!

My problem is that I've only spent about $26 dollars on my bms. I purchased them totes that I embroidered with my grandma's help, braceletts, flip flops, hoodies that I blinged with their first initial... and i thought that I'd done a good job...

Makeup costs $45 for my girls so if i pay for that, it would put us at about the same amount as the GMs. Do you think that would be nice for me to pay for? Should I put that money toward their dresses so they have to pay less? Should I get them gift certificates to their fav stores?? I don't know what else to do. My girls are paying more to be in my wedding than the guys are so I just feel like they deserve the same amount spent on them.

What should I do?

I would appreciate a bride paying for my makeup.

I think it would be a nice gesture for u to pay for the makeup or dress. Maybe moreso the makeup because then it seems like more of a gift rather then subsidizing their dress.

Ditto about the feelings of subsidizing. Paying for make up sounds great.

Are all of the BMs getting makeup done anyway? I ask because if I were the BM, I do a decent job on my own makeup so might prefer help with the dress or a giftcard. But if they are all the type who'd enjoy having their makeup done, then that would be nice. You do have enough time when getting ready to add that extra in, right?

I might take a poll with them. Sure, then they'll know, but then you'll know what they really want. Plus, you could divy it up, so many BM's get makeup paid for while the other ones get Gift Cards.
Personally, I would want the gift card!
