The yearly Tropical Baroque Festival in Feb/March rears its ugly head again. We were supposed to go to Reno for the USBC Nationals tournament next year with my brother, SIL, and the rest of the bowling team for nationals. We'd have a room to ourselves and a day to do anniversary-type stuff.The dates shifted, and now he won't be able to go. It's not that he's committed to the festival, but when you can take $5K in a week (regardless of when they actually pay it), that pretty much trumps everything.It's just a day, and a day that doesn't actually happen 3 out of 4 years. I'd like to have an actual anniversary eventually, though. It already bumped our honeymoon to June and killed our 1st year anniversary. /end the pettiest of all vents.
