I love your clearance groceries.  Yesterday I scored a big 'ol tub of arugala for only $1.99.  I have 24 hours to consume it before it starts to drip brown goo.  But oh what a glorious 24 hours it is!

    Dh laughs at me and my $1 meat habit.  Piss on him.  $1 for ground turkey is a helluva deal.  I buy every last package of it and throw it in the freezer.

    I don't think our meat department is as fond of marking down.  The only things I ever see are either leaky chickens or really good cuts marked down from $25 to $14 for two filets.  That might be nice once in a while but I'm not filling the freezer with it.

    I am also a discount meat buyer.  I've found the best day to go can be Weds. at Meijer because they changeover their ad on Thursday.

    dh hates it when i troll the discount rack, but does he complain when i buy a dozen donuts for $1?  no because his mouth is full of donut.
