SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!! it's so freaky! I've been DIY'ing, emailing with my vendors, and working out at the gym like it's my job!

YES!!  I agree I also feel a little overwhelmed by things that need to be done. However I am slowly making checks.  We put a deposit down this weekend for our limo and I bought items for our centerpieces so slowly but surely moving forward!

I have 6 more days of the "6 months" month and I can't even believe it! We have done quite a bit over the past few weeks though, so I feel goo!

Not yet! I was shocked when the new year rolled in though, but looking at all of 5 month tickers make me nervous! I'm just teeny bit glad we have a bit more time haha

Yes! It seems like everything has really kicked into high gear recently. However, my FI and I went on our Engaged Encounter through our church this weekend and it was totally amazing. SUCH a great time for us to get away from our zooey work weeks and really just focus on each other, our upcoming marriage, and not so much on the details of the wedding itself. It was a great reminder that a wedding is a day and a marriage is a lifetime. Needed to be reminded of that!

I know. It's crazyness how close and quick it seems to be now. My family is going to FL for vacation from Feb. 22nd through March 14th and once they get back it will seem so ridiculously close and my sister who is my MOH will be having to plan my bridal shower and then bachelorette. Man this post is making me freak out a bit realizing my family will be gone for 3 weeks and how much I still need to do especially with my sisters and mother's help. Yikes!

I'm used to it already.

However, I think there's something wrong with me, I've got a lot more to do than you guys, but I feel like there's still all the time in the world. Well, just over five months of course, but that should be plenty to get everything done. Especially now that we've finally found a DJ, we're meeting with him on Feb. 2nd, so I hope to get another check then.

It is so crazy to me. It seemed so far away when we first got engaged, and this year has blown by; I cant imagine how fast only 5 months will go by!

And yes, I have plenty to do yet too; so everyone else with lots to do; thanks for making me feel a little better. I have a sticky note on my desktop that i update with projects weekly.

Yes. The 6 month mark is really hitting me hard. It's going by crazy fast.

Yes, it's crazy! Although I finally feel like I'm not behind on planning. We got so much done over the holidays. I've made a lot of progess on DIY projects in the past few weeks, too. Now my biggest worry is getting everyone's addresses organized for the invitations... not looking forward to this.

I'm not really, but FI is...he started freaking out the other day that there actually IS wedding stuff left to do (he thought it was ALL taken care of...men...).

I am not in ticker shock yet. Mine still says 6 months and 5 days lol. But I have been having melt downs because i think about all the stuff I have to do and the money we need to have to do it and it kills me. AHHHH!

So I have been panicking because I have to put the deposit down on the reception site before they can hold the date and I won't have the money unitl Wednesday. I know its only 2 days away, but I keep having nightmares that I'll show up to put the deposit down and they'll say, oh, that date was just booked 10 minutes ago. It's a very small area that I live in and it's the only place anywhere near us that's in our budget that will hold 190 guests and has a separate room I can set up for the 30 or so kids. So I've been pretty calm up til now. But then I saw 5months, 4 weeks, and 1 day and I thought I was going to faint!
