Most of you saw the boys' school (daycare) pics on FB last night. I looked at their class pics and was wondering why Desmond stuck out like a sore thumb.  I figured I just noticed him more because he was mine, or maybe because he was wearing a light-colored, boldly-striped sweater, or maybe he was kindof standing apart from the group (it's hard to wrangle toddlers).

Also? The kid in the black shirt sitting on blue-shirt-teacher's lap? A boy.

That is a cute bunch of kiddos.  But why does the poor boy have pigtails?

Me and hubby were the only non-Jamacians at his friend's wedding.  To this day I haven't seen the wedding pictures.  I imagined how easy it would be to find us.

They are cute. And they all give me hugs in the morning. :)  No clue why they put that poor boy in pigtails. They do it fairly regularly - I didn't even recognize him the first time and asked who the new girl was.

Oh. That is one of my black-related pet peeves.

Some people don't want to cut their boy's hair before 18 months, and will choose to braid or put it in puffs. You don't have to use the clippers, but shape it up with some scissors, people. I hate that.
