Wedding Woes

This may have been the last year for the Bunny.

We hide Bacon's basket, and this year we hid plastic eggs filled with jelly beans, too. So The Easter Bunny left her a note about the eggs and the basket.

Well today she says to H, "I wonder who hid my eggs."
"The Easter Bunny hid the eggs. He left you a note!"
"Yeah, but bunnies can't write, and that looked like Mom's handwriting."

<sniff> Kid's too damn smart. And I suck at disguising my handwriting. I knew I should have typed it.

Of course, I like that her "bunny ridiculousness threshold" is bunnies writing. Bunnies breaking into the house in the middle of the night and leaving baskets full of candy that looks suspiciously like it came from Costco? A-OK.

    Bunnies writing notes?! Preposterous!

That is pretty funny. It's the hand-written note that gets Bacon to give the side-eye.

Next year use letters cut out of magazines, kidnapper style.

Or have a neighbor write the note.

See, the notes from the bunny looked like when a 7 yo tries to be 'scary' and make the letters wiggle...
w/ the explanation that the dog/the neighbor's dog/etc tried to eat him.

(we didn't buy it regardless, but dad gets points for trying.  ANd the stories about the dogs were entertaining)

I bet the easter bunny has his own font that looks like handwriting.
(my parents cancelled the egg hunt at the last mnute because big sis had the flu and I had a migraine.
Boo!  we go for blood and entertainment :-P)
