lame-o post of the day

i'm really looking forward to the holidays this year, even more than last year.

we have a great amount of space and i cannot wait to put up the tree. i'm pretty much ready now. i have to find my christmas CDs.

sure this can change in a week, but we fell into a really comfortable groove, and i want to enjoy it while my mood is good.

also, i made brownies last night and they came out wonderful.

I actually found myself looking forward to them.  But, in my true Scrooge form, it's only b/c those are the only damn days I get off for another 4 months.

Though I've found myself very interested in the cool fabric trees I've been seeing at Michaels and Hobby Lobby and have been considering giving them a try.  I don't mind a small tree, I'm just not doing the big one for 2 people w/2 cats and 2 dogs.

I'm afraid I won't have enough brain cells to figure out how to decorate the house this year. 

Our neighborhood has lots of people that have gone all out for Halloween.  It makes my pumpkins sad, but it does make me excited to see what Christmas is like.

well, the end of year holidays mean that spring is around the corner. that always makes me happy enough to fall for clever holiday marketing and the materialistic reason for the season.
