So, Sunday, we went to a different church.
I did NOT leave Buffy in the nursery because I don't know anyone @ said church--I'm suspicious.
(and because I have learned the hard way, if you're at a church and decide you HAVE to leave because the fundie-kool-aid is super bad, you can't duck out easily if they have your kid)
So I sat near the back and Buffy immediately took a shine to the people sitting near us--next to us was a family w/ wee ones and behind us = entire family--mom, dad, kids, grandma, grandpa. Buffy fell in LUFF w/ the grandma.
Buffy tried to feed the lady raisins. She handed the lady her stuffed dog (the one she carries everywhere).
And then, during one of the songs, Buffy was squirmy and I sat down so I wouldn't drop her. Suddenly the grandma lady laughed...Buffy had leaned way over and was busy feeling around inside the woman's suit-coat pocket.
Yeah.
Buffy = The Artful Dodger.
I told her to go for the large bills.
