Wedding Woes

So who listened to Diane Rehm today?

Ron Paul was on for the entire hour. I'm listening now.

I did.  I think he kind of wimped out on the evolution question.  Come on buddy, I know you think that the creationists are whackadoodle.

I completely understand the minimal government thing and I've always respected the Libertarians for sticking to their guns (hee) and being more logical and consistent with their views than Rs & Ds.  So then why is he pretending to buy into the questioning of science thing?

interesting. I had it on for a few minutes in the car, but it sounded weird - I guess it was RP.  Not sure what he was talking about at that point. Would have been about 30-35 minutes in to the first hour.

I try to avoid NPR during heavy news times like this. It just pisses me off.

unrelated: I posted something for you late last night, bmom. It's from CNN, though, so you've probably already seen it.

I thought it put a refreshing spin on things.

I saw it, DG, and responded.

Zsa, he's *very* religious. It would not surprise me if he actually does question evolution, or at least parts of it, based on his faith. The overriding point there, though, is that he really doesn't think it's anyone else's business, and it's not something the government should be involved in regulating for schools.

Huh.  I'm still going to hope that he is actually smarter than that.

Hey, as long as he doesn't want me to believe it, he can be as dumb as he wants.
