We're going to the beach for our anniversary. It will be my first opportunity to wear a bathing suit all summer, so I just checked the weather. High of 59.

Tell me about it. We went this weekend because the forecast said mid-70s. When we got there, it was 65 and a little chilly. But we toughed it out.

You should come down here this week, high pressure is pushing our temps up. I will be sitting in the 80's most of the week, and I am pretty close to the ocean here.

Granted, I'm totally over wearing summer clothes, and because of Mr. Loverman's December due date, we won't get to enjoy the cold weather up north this Christmas.

It's funny how much I miss the humidity. I'm sure after 5 minutes back in it I'd be done for another year, but I love lounging by the pool in sweltering heat. There are pools everywhere out here, but IMO it never gets hot enough to use them.

Btw, the last time I went to the beach (stinson, by SF) it was 62 and overcast, and I got the worst sunburn of my life because it was cold and cloudy so I didn't think I needed sunscreen. Adurr.
