On a scale of 1-Garage sale makeup

how weird is it to buy bath bombs on Etsy? I've been obsessed with Lush bath bombs and bubble bars, but it's an expensive habit. So I googled "how to make your own bath bombs" and etsy came up and so many of them look so beautiful and delicious and I want to buy a ton....
Is that weird? I'm not eating it or anything, but it's going to be touching my body, so I'm hesitating.

(although I buy handmade soap from my friend on Etsy. I've seen her kitchen. I trust her. And I love her soap)

  • 1.  Seriously, it's just citric acid, baking soda and some sort of fragrance something or other or other bits n baubles all pressed together.

No rich lady lipo fat was used in the rendering of bath bombs ;)

der.  that heifer doesn't HAVE any friends.

i don't think it's that weird, as long as the person has a lot of sales.

have you checked out notmartha for diy?

  • (sort of) unrelated, but when I was little and my mom used to take me to pier 1 or bed bath and beyond, and I found those bins of loose bath oils (like oil in a little gel ball that disolves in the tub), I used to eat them. And they always tasted bad, so I don't know why

Last Christmas my mom put some in my stocking with a note that said "in case you need a snack later"

  • I have that tutorial bookmarked! I need to just do it. But I'm scared of having another hobby. I have too many as it is!

  • Krizzo. We must be kindred spirits. I distinctly remember eating those too. I'd squeeze out the oil and eat the "shell"

  • Why not just make your own, then?  My friend who is not crafty at all makes those every Christmas as gifts so I imagine you could make them in your sleep.

  • I had no idea what a bath bomb was.  I have learned something today.
  • You two have been missing out! They're little fizzy balls of awesome for soaking in a bathtub with, if you're into that sort of thing.

Haha I used to suck out the oil and then spit out the shell. We could be besties.
