Wedding Woes

dog people

1.)  I always knew that Snoopy was supposed to be a beagle, but I never thought he looked like one.   Until this week.   One of my neighbors has a little bitty beagle puppy that is black (or dark brown) and white.   He looks like an adorable little Snoopy puppy.  And his ears were bigger then he was and were practically dragging on the ground.  I wanted to dognap him immediately.
They've been walking him right around the time I get home from work so I'll try to sneak a picture.

2.) I was looking through the Hallmark ornament catalog and they have the cutest little pug with reindeer antlers.   LOVE IT!   (And yes, I'm a beebee and collect Hallmark ornaments for my DD...)

We decided to do ornaments for the kids.  It's starting to be a nice tradition that DH and I go together and buy it.  So far we've found Baldwin brass that sort of "commemorates" something of the year or something he loves at that time.

IF you do go that route, be sure to write the kid and the year on the box or the ornament.  I've also started writing the giver on it.

They have a lot of cute ones.   I've been collecting these for DD (this will be christmas #4 for her):

But they are being replaced by these:

The Hallmark ones have a year on the back.

I usually buy the special age one right away because they can be hard to find later.   But the other ones (like the disney ones, etc) I'll get on clearance after christmas.
