Where to get a white party dress?

I have looked a lot online for a white dress for the shower and rehearsal. I have not had any luck. I guess the main stipulation is the price I really don't/can't spend over $100. Way less would be better.

Where do you recommend?

Have you considered looking at Victoria's Secret online? They sometimes have really cute dresses, but I don't know how formal you're going for.

How fancy do you want it?  Old Navy has a cute beachy one, and it's very inexpensive.  I got my shower dress at H&M yesterday for $30.  It's not white, but they had a lot of dresses there.  I'm pretty sure that for the rehearsal I'm going to wear a white dress I bought last summer from Ann Taylor Loft.  Good luck!  There's lots of stuff out there.  And remember, you don't HAVE to wear white.

I got one for my bparty at Nordstrom.

If you're not dead set on white, think about getting a more flexible color. I wasn't able to wear the white dress I bought and now I'm finding there's very few occasions to wear a white party dress so it just hangs in my closet! If you do silver or a light pink, you can wear it again more easily.

JC Penney - American Living brand.  The dresses normally run 100 but are currently on sale at 50% off.  Ditto PPs though - you don't have to wear white unless you REALLY want to.  I bought a purple one for the shower and am debating wearing it to the RD as well.

I second JC Penny.  I was just in there and they had a lot of cute sundresses on sale.  They had a good selection of white ones but several other colors too.

My shower invite said that the bride must wear ALL WHITE. I completely understand how hard it is to find an all white dress! Oh lord do I!!! I've looked hours upon hours for something that one flattering (cause white + tight isn't all that cute!), pretty enough, cute enough, fancy-ish, etc...
On Saturday I went to the supermall and tried on about 35 white dresses! NO JOKE! I was exhausted!!!!!!

I finally found one at Ann Taylor that I bought.... It's kinda Jackie O looking, not really my style but it's super cute. It was orig. $115 and I bought it for $70 (inc tax).
But I also tired on some cute ones at the Rack, that DEB store, Alley Kat (I think that's what it's called - they had a lot!), burlington coat factory, oh and group usa had about 5 short white dresses, all around $40. They were really cute....

Is Burlington Coat Factory only down in Auburn? I'm not looking for white but AM looking for a cute dress to wear to my shower that's Sunday brunch. I want something kind of feminine, preferably pink but not coral/peach. My shower is Sunday and I don't have time to go to Auburn, but haven't had any luck at Southcenter or Belle Square.

There are 3 burlingtons around here, I searched online
Edmonds, Auburn & Tacoma.

In all my years shopping the only thing I have ever bought there was a bracelet. I've never been really happy with their selection. I tried on 4 white dresses there. They were all too short and hoochie mama looking. Lol
Their dress selection wasn't huge... there had 2 huge circle racks full of discounted dresses though.

Im so glad you posted this! Ive been having the same issue!
Our engagement party is this saturday, I've come up with nothing as of yet....
Id like to wear a skirt or dress but if I cant find one, I'll wear some white pants with a white top.

Banana Republic Outlet (supermall) had some REALLLLLLLLY cute white slacks and REALLLLLY cute white summery tops!!

"If you want to.  My thought is that for a shower honoring you, you wear whatever you want to!"  So I'll be wearing purple.  White IS a tricky color to find.  Part of me wants to find a white sundress for the RD the other part worries about white cotton + marinara = bad.

I think it's fun, althought it was really stressful to find the dress. I guess she just knows me and knows what I'd think is a good idea. I am to wear all white and the bridesmaids are all suppose to wear black and white... colors of the wedding. also, the invites she hand made and they are so cute! and they are also wedding colors

Thanks girls! Last night I was racking my brian and I came up with JCP too. I found several white dresses that I liked but only some were available online and then some were sold out but I ordered 2 with $5 shipping. I'll keep you posted:)
