I failed.

But some of the answers are variable by state. And I was taught the exact opposite of some of the "correct" answers, which is weird.

How'd you do?

Awful, but I know some of them are not correct.

What are you people getting wrong?

I was surprised that pedestrians don't always have the right of way. I was always taught that they did.

I was taught that about peds, too. I was also taught that the car to your LEFT has the right of way at a 4-way stop.

And then I got stuff like "What causes most accidents" and "What to do if your lights won't work" wrong. And the blinking red light thing. I thought "it's a stop sign" but didn't see that as an option, so I went with "yield" instead of "stop", because really, it's stop-and-go, yield to the traffic with the flashing yellow.

I also got what causes more accidents wrong. I thought it was speed.

I got the # of feet behind something.  Eff that.  IDK spaces/lengths/depths well enough to know those things.

I missed all of the questions that involved a set # of feet or a %.  I'm a bad guesser.  And I thought that peds only had the right-of-way when it was a marked intersection.  I guess I'll have to stop running over people now.

I got the statistic questions wrong. I have no idea what causes people to get into accidents, and stupidity was not an option.

IIRC, almost none of this was on my driving test, anyway. Certainly not that "implied consent" sht - I never knew I'd implied my consent, I thought I had to explicitly give it at the time of the test.

some of their answers ARE IMO wrong...
but pedestrians definately do NOT always have the right-of-way...that's why jaywalking tickets exist!

I had to take a written test to get my CA license. It took me completely by surprise and I just barely passed. I was in a near-murderous rage at the question, "You must use your headlights at all times except..." because "broad daylight" wasn't one of the options. So apparently in California I'm supposed to use headlights in the daytime.
