Scott Pilgrim vs The World
Despite this movie being recommended to me by several people, I had my suspicions, and they were confirmed: I am way too old for this movie. It was basically a very stylized and gimmicky film about the ridiculous emotional baggage early 20somethings carry around and into their next relationships that older people would pretty much just shake off and move on. And Michael Cera plays George Michael Bluth yet again, even though while that character at 16 is charming, it's not so much at 22. Or, maybe it was written as a different character and he turned it into GMB just by being there, it's hard to say. In spite of all of this, I don't feel angry and as though I want my 2 hours back, and I did chuckle aloud at many points. D+ at my age, but I'd probably think it was a solid B if I were ten years younger.
