So yesterday we switched from satellite to cable. I ordered a shiny new Tivo that I was so excited to finally set up. But did they have the cable card on my order? No. And did the only guy at the cable company capable of signing a cable card out of the inventory room go on vacation yesterday morning and won't be back for a week? Of course!!
So I am without DVR services until further notice. Last night I tried to flip through some of my new channels and then I wept when I remembered that I couldn't rewind, pause or fast forward. I'm going to have to actually sit down and watch Lost tonight at the right time AS IT AIRS WITHOUT FAST FORWARDING THROUGH COMMERCIALS!!! Oh, the humanity!
I might as well do my laundry tonight by beating it on a rock in the river.
