I don't mind getting invited to tbe parties per se, but it's getting ridiculous. On top of the friends having parties and acquaintances havinng "catalog parties: there are random people putting fliers on the door/mailbox.
The last straw is an acquaintance is now selling insurance. She's been doing it for a hot minute and thinks she knows what we need and why. I tried to be nice and say we've been with our agent since I was and that her company doesn't give DH and I premium prices for life insurance. She wants to come back and still try to sell me on it.
I get that she needs to ask, but when I give a thoughtful answer zip it.
