  • Because Christina is a feminization of Christian, which is a follower of the Christ. It's the same principle as naming your kid "Faith" or "Hope" or "Prudence". 

    Craig is of Anglo-Saxon derivation, yes? Or Gaelic? In any case, it's not a Greek derivative, and therefore, the "ch" construction doesn't belong.
