i did, but we're not 100% on anything. we like more traditional names

a boy will likely be Michael, also like Daniel and a few others
a girl will likely be Samantha or Alexandra, also like Elizabeth, Catherine, and a few others.

we're not set on middle names at all.

Those are all good - normal, traditional names.

Are you planning some creative spellings to make them more youneek?

Heck no, although we were kidding about using Logan as a middle name for a boy. I know Wolverine's real name was James/Jimmy, but he went by Logan.

I like Zoe, which is about as out there as it gets, but DH doesn't so we won't use it.

people have enough trouble with our last name, we don't need to make it more difficult on the kid.

The local DJs were talking about baby name trends yesterday and stupid names based off of TV shows and movies seem to reign supreme.

They said top names right now are Jacob and Isabella (Bella) - I guess we can be happy that the Twilight characters have "normal" names.

I used to like Isabella, but ever since it became popular, I've gotten over it. Especially since everyone who named their daughter Isabella calls her Izzy. WTF?

Jacob is cute, and it would be a nice way to honor my maiden name, but again, every Twi-tard is naming their son Jacob.
