In all honesty, a sibling would be a better match, though one of his children could be as well. He might have done a lot of homework on this and felt that a sibling kidney would last longer or have a less chance of rejecting.

that kinda sucks.
But I'm not sure how big a deal the surgery is.
I mean, I know, all surgery is scary (and scairer when in poor health) but I thought they do this one mostly laproscopically anymore.

If crazy lasts forever, that is a good sign for me.

I hope he gets the kidney he needs so he can continue his craziness for a long time to come.

Nope, no dialysis. Doctors can't explain it. He's long been a medical mystery to them. This isn't his first (or even second or third) time stumping doctors.
