My wedding is just over a week away. We live in Vancouver Canada but are getting married in my small home town in Ontario. Most of my planning and supplies I purchased outright from vendors such as the tableclothfactory.com (good but held at the border for several days). Or allseasonsweddings.com for an Officiate. On arrival to the Yacht Club, where we are to have the reception we noticed that the chairs are in very rough shape and need replacements. With 1 week to go we embark on the search for new chairs. Then the musician booked for the festivities backed out. Now we search for a musician as well. The problem with not living in the chosen location is we cannot see every detail unfold. Vendors are very few and far between and it looks like we will be paying much more for delivery charges. In addition, vendors are few and far between and we should have had a back up vendor and incorporated that into the budget. We shall see what compromises are made to wed in a small town.
