Wedding Woes

Spring is on my isht list.

It's supposed to be 33 and snowing on Sunday.  This means everyone will be inside the house for DefConn's party because it will be too cold to be outside.

Last year, it was 80 and people were mostly outside.  Blah.

And DH has been working 12 hour days this week and has to work Sunday morning.  I've been busting my ass doing party prep.  Blah...again.

  • Boo!
Spring is also on my list.  We are getting another snow storm on Sunday into Monday and that will make the 8th Monday in a row with accumulating snow.  The past several storms have dropped from 4"-9" each time.  Enough already.

  • If I am still wearing my down parka come April 1st, I'm suing god.  I won't even get a chance to wear any of my non-maternity spring/summer clothes by the time it gets here, because they won't fit by then. That really irritates me. And I want to turn my heat off.

  • I'm with you ladies.  I'm a little amused but this wind and biting cold can suck it.

YES.  I like having that 4-5 week period of not running the heat or air.
  • Yes, running my heat all.the.time is on my nerves too.  I want to open up my house.  I feel like when it's closed up for so long, it just gets that winter funk and needs to be aired out.
  • It's in the 20s here and yet things are blooming enough to make me sneeze and look like I have pink eye. The Corgi ate my eyedrops too after stealing them out of my work bag, so I lack the treatment.

Of course, this means I get to go have the awkward eyedrop exchange with the pharmacist at Kroger because extra strength Visine costs $4.20 there, I ish you not.

  • Highs on the upper 70's and low 80's this week. We're going to the park, doors and windows are open, and its is majestic as fvkc over here.
  • They just said on the radio it was 87 degrees here a year ago today.  High 34 today.

  • I mean, I'd like somewhere between 30 and 80, thanks.

Seriously.  We'd at least be able to go to the park if it was 50.
  • Exactly Taw.  I'm picky, so what?   I just am tired of this tundra-like wind storm that awaits me every morning.
