I've been sick since early monday morning - when i woke up at 2am to pump, only to find that I had serious chills. I fell back asleep and woke up around 3:30 freezing, and at 4:30 drenched in sweat. Took some alieve cold/flu at 3:30 and still had a fever at 101, when i got up at 5:15 for work. With being achy and dizzy, i called in sick, figuring it wasn't safe for me to try and drive in. Felt somewhat better and fever gone by evening.
Tuesday woke up at normal time -but with an upset stomach. Diarrhea is not fun. Went to the bathroom before taking Wolverine to daycare. Had to run into their restroom, and then went right back home. Got to a point where i felt well enough to drive in, and got to work about an hour later than normal. Went straight into the restroom on the way into the building. Let up during the day, enough that i felt well enough to go out for dinner with a moms' group that i joined. Started feeling upset after getting home - went a few more times and figured i was done.
Wed 2am, get up to pump, and by 2:15 in the bathroom, not to emerge again until 7-7:30 am. It was hell. When DK got up at 5, sent him to Walgreens for immodium and gatorade. Had started to feel nauseous at some point so took some Zofran. Peed on a stick (figured I'd try and rule out a possible cause). Called in sick again. (There was no way in hell I was going to be more than 25 feet from a toilet for any significant amount of time.)
Today I still feel crappy, but it's mostly achy/headache - I'm guessing it's just dehydration at this point. I lost 5.5lbs from Tuesday-Wednesday - i'm sure that was mostly water weight and not eating - but would make the whole ordeal feel like it wasn't a total waste if i could keep *some* of that off.
... also, the test was negative. (I have a Mirena, but you never know...)
