I think my monitor just died.

in Wedding Woes
I swiped one off of a different computer.  I've never seen this happen before.  Everything was fine, and then all of a sudden my screen went black.  I turned it off and then back on again, and it was fine for, oh, 15 seconds, then it went black again.  It's dead, isn't it?

    Hmm. Quite possibly.  Sure it's not just a loose connection?

    Nothing seemed loose, but it's not impossible that it was.

    I did have that happen randomly to my lab computer a few weeks ago.  Just went black.  I plugged in another monitor, & everything worked great.  Switched back a day later, and the original monitor has worked fine ever since. (It's only a year old, so it should.)

    But I'd guess that's more exception than norm.

    Maybe i'll retry the other monitor on Monday.
