PW- in addition to new floors I'm also getting a train

My dad has decided he's going to build a whole model train set with DS. In my house. And he needs a room free from dogs where he can paint and build. And he'd like a key so he can come over whenever plus a fridge for snacks and drinks. I know he's kidding on the key and fridge, but he is definitely not kidding on the train set coming to my house.

My poor dad had two daughters. He loved us but having a grandson is like a dream come true for him.

That's sweet and overwhelming all in one.  Do you have a room to dedicate to a train?

My mom got my dad a little toy train for Christmas last year and it was his favorite thing ever.

He can have our loft. All it has is a couch. It was going to be a movie room but that's tabled until we do the million other projects that require our attention first. I'm just afraid of the thought of a million little train pieces everywhere.

I would love this. I always wanted a train set as a kid, but never got one.

This is the best thing ever. Trains are pretty much my favorite thing on earth and I have great memories of making big train sets with my Daddy. They're going to have an AWESOME time!!
