I have ordered my wedding album, and my pain in the ass MIL and mother's albums.

After nearly 3 years of being harrassed, they're ordered. No more complaining about not getting the albums that they didn't pay for.

Oh, I plan on being on my wedding album like white on rice.

That is in my mind. In reality, I am a flake and it is likely that it will be 3 years after my wedding until I order mine.

I thought I would be, too. And I was planning to be, even when we got our proofs.

I had MIL and Mom pick out their albums, but they picked out 40 pictures and they only get 26. I put off the task of sifting through the pictures, matching the numbers to the list, laying all 40 of their pictures out and picking 26 from the 40.

MIL's book was easier to narrow down. Random relative pictures and 2 of the 3 pictures she picked of us cutting the wedding cake were removed. Mom had some good ones, but also dumb repeats.

I just got all my pictures picked out for mine. It took weeks. Then I made the mistake of sending the list to my mother. It's going to take her even longer to go through them than it took me.

we got our album about 3 months after our 2nd anniversary. I took the HQ proofs, and made shutterfly albums for our parents - I think mine actually turned out nicer than what the photog would have charged us 4x as much for...

We went cheap on photography, so I'm scrapping our photos - yeah, 3 years after the fact. I hope my mom doesn't want one - I didn't order double prints, so I'd have to do the whole selection over again.
