Wedding Woes

Seriously? No one on 50 shades?

I thought half of you had read it. I know LS and Myrtle did (right?)

  • I have nothing to add. I have heard from many people that the writing sucks and I have no desire to spend the money on crappy writing.

    The writing does suck.

I did read that post Kuus linked to last week, and it is fairly spot on.

She doesn't orgasm, she "explodes around him." Every. Damn. Time. (Is there no other way to describe this?) And she feels things... there. And he touches her... there. If it were the Bump, people would be screaming, "It's called a vagina! Get over it!"

Gah! Please read it so I can talk about it with somebody!!

My college roommate is reading 1Q84. Seriously. And I am reading this smut.

  • I bought it. I have a library book I'm working through first, but I read the first couple of pages, and the sex scenes better make up for the writing.

And I have no book deal. The world is a shitty place, yo.

IDK, bmom. I've read that some people were turned off by the sex scenes, but I didn't have that experience. It reminded me a lot of the movie Secretary. In fact, I'm glad I saw that first, because I think it helped me understand the characters before I started to hate them.
