WHY was she still having sex with this man???

BFP..with a sticky situation behind it.

Wow...so, I just got an unexpected BFP. We have a 5 year old son, and DH is done with children. In fact...we were about to file for divorce due to reasons I just don't want to go into on here. DH is still only talking to me when he wants to demand to know what I plan to do about this. He doesn't want it wants me to abort the pregnancy. I do not want to abort...however, I also don't want the little one to suffer because Daddy doesn't love/want it, and loves big brother. DH wants nothing to do with this, and quite frankly, being without a current job and having money, I am kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. He took me off of his insurance without letting me know, so effective January 1st, I will not be insured. I need help, advice..something. Please.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    Uhm... I have no idea how they would even still be having sex, unless she's using sex as a way to keep him around?

    I pointed out that she may not be able to proceed with the divorce.

    response:

    The sex was before we decided to divorce. I am about 6 weeks along. I just did research on divorce laws in KY, and you cannot proceed with divorce filings while pregnant. Thanks for all of your help.


    I guess some really bad stuff could have gone down in the last month, but I still give it the side eye.

    uhm, I don't believe she was removed from insurance /wo knowing.
    THat's hard to do and...there ahs to be a 'qualifying event'--like legal separation or divorce ro what not.
    'course, kid can go BCK on insurance as his birth would be qual. event...she's just SOL in the interim.

    GBCK - If it kicks in 1/1 it sounds like he did it as part of open enrollment.

    Yeah, most people I know of had open enrollment in the past month or so.  If they were considering divorce at that time, I can see him dropping her coverage next year.

    And, I'm sorry, this isht may have come to a head in a month's time, but it was certainly going on for longer than that.  I wonder if this was NOT an 'oops' baby and she hoped that he would just deal with it if she did get KU'd.  Guess that backfired on her big time.
