I think the statistic is that 1 in 6 woman will be sexually assaulted in her life.  Does that apply to us?

I was 16 and I was almost raped by a guy I invited over to my house while my parents were out. I considered it as happening when I was a child.

Depends on where you draw the line on "sexually assaulted." 

There was one statuory incident that I don't really count, and a highly traumatic incident that was more scary than actually violent.

I had a guy grab my boobs once - and I hauled off and slapped him across the face.

I didn't count this because i thought you were asking more along the lines of rape/attempted rape/molestation.

Yes, agreed that the definition is highly subjective.  But I think everyone can make the call for themselves if they felt assaulted or not.
