AW: Shower

My shower was yesterday & it was so much fun!  One of my aunts that I haven't seen in YEARS, who no one can ever get ahold of, was even there!  It was very sweet.  I wanted to AW this though, because guess what???
They bought a cake from Kelli for the shower!  AND they asked her to make it one of the flavors from our wedding cake, so we had almond cake with raspberry mousse.  Everyone there loved it so much, and a lot of people said that they don't usually like cake, but they loved that one!  Yay!

Anyway, between my shower, e-pics last week, and Trisha & Sara's posts below, my wedding burn-out is fading away & I am feeling super motivated to get the rest of the little stuff done.  It seems SO close now!

p.s. I hope KST had fun at her shower too!

    Ooohh! Yum! I wonder if I saw your shower cake while I was doing tastings with her Saturday...? She showed me the cakes she was working on and we decided on three flavors (one of them, almond cake) if we go with her. Still deciding whether to go with her or not, but we certainly loved her cake!  Glad your shower was a hit!

    Archel- it was green on the bottom, white on top with green polka dots, and a brown ribbon with a bow in the middle. =)

    That is so cool and yum cake! Kelli is doing a cake for my parent's birthday in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to eat some of it!

    That sounds like a wonderful shower! I wish someone would be that thoughtful for my shower cake:) You need to put up a picture! I can't wait for my shower, but I need to keep waiting:( I'm glad sarack and I can motivate you. I seriously am so unmotivated when it comes to wedding stuff sometimes. I still haven't finished my card box. I bought more supplies so hopefully I can get it looking good and I'll post a picture;) Good luck with the thank yous! Did you get anything really exciting?
