Wedding Woes

BR whine

The past couple days I've not been able to get my 'eating schedule' right and that's led me to feel sick.

Yesterday, it was because I had my appt. and a late breakfast and went into work late and then didn't have a proper lunch.  So I felt pretty bad in the middle of the afternoon.  Today, I waited too long to get lunch.  So I could only stomach 1/2 my wrap and my pretzels and I still feel really queasy.

I should have forced myself to eat some crackers at about 10:30am even though I was not hungry.   I hate this.  I'm so used to my body being on a certain schedule and Defconn1 (that's Wzz) has shot that all to hell.

    LOL @ Defconn1

Yeah, you've gotta take care of yourself before you let other things get in the way.

The other issue I'm having is that I'll be not hungry at all, not even a little bit.  And then 15 minutes later my stomach's like "ZOMG! Must.have.food.now!!!"

I now carry a large bag of snacks with me at all times.  If I don't eat I get sick.

I lived on watermelon between weeks 7-12. Now I have to make sure I eat enough times a day and enough at meals otherwise I end up feeling like serious poop.

I can't get the eating small meals thing down either. It's not as easy as it sounds. Feel better, MrsC.

I know.  It's such a catch-22.  If I eat too much I feel sick or if I don't eat at the right time or enough, I feel sick.  Blerg.  Oh and on top of that my food aversions have also been running rampant, so that's a whole other thing to deal with on top of it all.

The food aversions will calm down too. A lot of the smells that were killing me first tri are dulled back to normal scent status. But no doubt, first tri kind of sucks for a lot of women.

    Quit yer bitch!n'.

Kidding. Yeah, what they said. And don't eat Easy Mac no matter how good it sounds in your mind. It's not good going down, and it's not good going up.

nibbling on those energy/protein bars helped me with the queasy feelings, especially if it had been a while since I ate - i would always keep one or two on my night stand and in my purse for emergencies. i think they helped more than crackers - even if it took me 10 minutes to get through 1/4 of a bar sometimes. if you can eat almonds, get some that are dry roasted/unsalted (healthier that way...) and carry those with you too. the protein should help fill you up.

i get where you are coming from though, especially on the being queasy/full/not hungry, and then starving 10 minutes later. i would wake up at 3-5am completely starving and queasy from not having eaten, and would have to nibble on something before i could fall back asleep.
