    I would just like to say that there is no way in hell I could parent alone. Not that I would go out and get a replacement dad for Bacon right away, but I would have to move in with my BFFs or one of my brothers or *something*. I am completely incapable of handling a job  and a child and the depression if H died/left. 

    Hell, I can barely handle summer, and H still comes home in the afternoon. 

    Oh, that's from the second link: "I got so used to being single mommy! Let's face it; we kick ass and we are totally capable of doing it alone."

    My mom handled three kids and a job all alone with a d1ckhead of an ex-H. Just because someone CAN do it, doesn't mean everyone else WANTS to do it.
