Wedding Woes

Okay, a sex poll for you, inspired by S&R

Husbands who won't have sex with their wives when pregnant - big problem, or wife should respect that and be celibate for 8 months or so?

Please to also be explaining why you chose what you did.

depends on the reason.  not attracted?  too busy getting the nursery together?  doesn't want to poke the baby with his giant ween (and who's he kidding)?

See I don't understand this. You would think that the husband would get some whenever he could, since it's a wrap for weeks after the baby gets here. Duh.

Huh?  That's just sick.  There has to be a point where he is just going insane and needs a good sex up, right?

    I hope that doesn't happen with H and I.

Well it depends...If the wife has had complications or something, I can see a guy being scared off sex.

But if she's had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and he's having issues with her being pregnant (looks or otherwise) and she *wants* to have sex and he's refusing, that's a problem.

I've struggled with my sexuality/self-esteem as it relates to my husband since I've been pregnant and especially since I've gotten further along and much bigger.  I just feel so awkward and clumsy.  If he also was 'turned off' by me, I'd be a basket case.  Thankfully, he loves my body and has loved watching it grow and has made me feel even more special to him throughout this process.

If neither party want to have sex for one reason or another, I guess it's a non-issue then.

Did I ever post that DH went through this phase?  It was short-lived, fortunately, but yes, supposedly he was afraid of damaging the embryo with his peen.  Really?  Really-really?  I seriously, literally, had to draw him a diagram.

    That made me giggle.

DH had a moment yesterday since we now know that DefConn is head down.  I asked where he thought dimples came from.  (so cheesy, I know)

I'll admit we've had some issues both times around.  With 6let the appi really freaked DH out.  We were good up until then, but after that he was just really scared of hurting me or the baby.

This time there have been non-pregnancy stressors; I had horrible uncontrollable reflux; and I've had sciatic issues.  So it's not been as frequent as non-pg sex.

I was ok with it, but DH wasn't too into it in the beginning because he was worried about something happening.

Then when he was ok with it, it was uncomfortable for me when we had sex, so it wasn't working. Finally, it worked for both of us. The last couple of weeks, though, I didn't want to do it because I was scared it would bring on labor.

So it was pretty spotty throughout.

OMG, heffa...H asked if he would FEEL my IUD or if it would puncture his peen.  *confused*  I literally pulled up a diagram of a uterus, cervix and VAGINA.  He was all "what!?!, I dont' have one!".
