    By not into it, do you mean she's not bursting at the seams with excitement, or has she actually said she doesn't support your decision.

    If it's the former, relax. If it's the later, then she obviously has some problem with either your FI or your relationship, and the no-job thing was just a convenient excuse not to mention what's really bothering her.

    Are you the oldest?  Are you the only girl?  It may be that for her-her baby grew up too fast and too soon and to not acknowledge the wedding gives her more time to pretend you're still her baby girl even though we all know we will always be our parents' little kids.
