After 2 and a half years of living here, our landlord finally agreed to clear out the jungle that passes as our back yard. The crew is out there clearing right now, and we're getting a patio and an irrigation system and everything. Herbert is not happy with the noise, but she's handling it better than I expected her to.
Of course, the reason the landlord finally agreed to the work is that he wants to sell the house, so we're going to have to get back into this househunting thing a little quicker than we'd planned.
