BP# 3

do you have your own office, or do you share with other people? home office counts.

Re: BP# 3

  • I'm in a very large cubicle.  It would be awesome to have an office, but I can see both of my bosses from where I sit, so it allows me to be lazy.  I can talk to them without getting up or picking up the phone.  I'm also right by our shared printer - again, I can be lazy.   Now that I think about it, my own office woulnd' t be that awesome after all.
  • i have my own cube, in a sea of cubes. All of our offices are internal to the building (the windows are open to the cube farm - part of the building's "Green" design), so office space is at a premium. You have to be at director level to get an office. the tradeoff is natural light vs a private space.

we have our home office set up in one of our guest rooms - although a lot of time we'll work from other rooms when we WFH (i have a work laptop, DK dials into his office desktop from our personal laptop)
  • Nope. Cubicle. But I have everything I'd ever want/need in here. radio, coffee maker, space heater, snacks.

I don't even get the bathroom.

ETA: I was going to get an office, but Max came along.
  • I'm in the HUGGGEEE upper floor of an office, with two other people.  Not bad, I'm about 30 feet away from the closest person.

    a little of both.
I have an office at work--said office also stores a lot of stuff.

I also have 3 workstations that I share w/ other people.  I get little time in 'my' office.
  • I have a STATION. Take that!

I know that's not reality, it's more like a partial cubical, but, lets pretend

I have a home office, it used to be nice and quiet.  Now I have to work with anywhere from 1 to 4 grandkids running in and out, and my H only works a few days a week so he is in and out too.  I need to go back to working out of the office, lol.
  • I have my own home office.
  • Spiders, bugs, enclosed spaces.
  • GBCK - i LOVED that museum!!!

I am in an open desk area. I would kill for a cubicle.
  • I haev an office with no door.  It's like a cubicle with walls that meet the ceiling.  I'd kill someone for a window.
  • I don't even have a home office.  My desk is in the corner of DefConn's room.   When we get a new houes, I will have my own office.  It may have a bed or futon in it for guests, but I definitely won't be sharing it with my kid.
  • PMegMcMansion has a personal office. My office is a hole though- I badly need to organize and clean this sh!thole.

    I'm in.
    never been, badly want to.

But I'll just live vicariously through others' pictures/experiences :)
  • I'm the only nurse who doesn't sit at a nurses' station. I am alone in my own room and love it.

  • I have a cubical.  Right now it's a large cube but we're moving in the fall to a "new space" that has smaller cubes (half the size, we'll be able to see everyone).  It's going to be interesting.
