First wedding present!

So exciting!  It was the Martha Stewart nesting melamine bowls.  The shocker was that it wasn't a mom who bought something from the registry first - it was one of my BMs.  She's so much more on top of things than I was for her wedding!

Now the trick is to not use any early presents we get.  :)

Oh, and I need to get cracking making our Thank You cards.  I see more stamping in my future!

Here's a pic of our first present-

I love these.  I almost kept my macy's registry JUST for these bowls.  But then I would have only had two things on there...  so I registered for the C&B equivalent.  But I love these colors better!  Go you!

I say write a Thank You, mail it and use them. I promise to not tell the P&E harpies.

ETA: Especially since they'd go BSC on you for waiting 4 months to write a Thank You.

For real, right?  FI thought we weren't even supposed to open the box.  Hah.

I've actually already designed the Thank You stamp I want to order, and have just been waiting for my first custom stamp to come in the mail so I can see how I like it, then I'll send off my order for the TY stamp.  So, the card will go out in probably 3-4 weeks, which I think isn't quite BSC-worthy.  :)

That is true. I always figure the sooner the better. I'm an eager beaver when it comes to that stuff, I think I wrote ours out as we were opening gifts. (This is probably more so since all the weddings I've gone to, and friends I've bought gifts for in the last 2-3 years have never sent me a thank you card)

Nice!  Yeah, she probably knows how exciting it is since she's gone through it.  I'm learning a lot of what my MOH went through a few years ago.

Yay! I told FIe that we needed to design TY cards and she looked at me funny. Then we stalked the regsitry and found out gifts are already on their way. It feels good to get something WR instead of work on it, right? <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-sealed.gif" border="0" alt="Sealed" title="Sealed" />

Haha, I forgot I have a birthday coming up.  My dad just asked me what I wanted, and I totally told him I want these bowls!
