So i was thinking and i saw this on another board....
My Dad and I aren't very close (long story) but i know he loves me and that I am his little girl and it is i think scaring him a little that I am getting married....However, I am super close to my GodFather. My godparents have no kids I am bascially their kid...I am pretty close to both of them.....
So my question is after the father daughter dance I wanted to do a dance with my Godfather, almost like a second father/daughter dance do you think my dad would be hurt or if this is stupid to even do? I talked to my FI and he thinks it is kinda dumb to do 2 songs cause he feels if i dance with my godfather he is going to have to dance with his godmother, whom he also close to. It is just a preference to me to do this since i never get to show him how much he really means to me and he is never going to get to experience this that i show him how much is a part of my life.
What do you guys think??
